This is an exciting opportunity in Milton Keynes for a Systems Engineer.

Cummins Electrified Power are a leading provider offlexible battery solutions for demanding automotive and powerapplications .

Your impact will be seen in these and other ways:

  • By showing understanding of the basics of system design process including requirements allocation and architecture definition, and determining capabilities

  • By providing technical direction to a team or project

  • By working with both software and electronics engineers closely as part of a new product development

  • By understanding, setting and ensuring the team work to correct systems and parameters.

Qualifications

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Experience in a NPI (New Product Introduction) environment

  • Good knowledge of Lithium Ion battery systems for automotive applications

  • Good knowledge of ISO26262

  • Experience in an automotive OEM or Tier 1 supplier

  • Ideally with a good knowledge of Battery Management Systems.

Required Education, Licenses or Certifications

  • College, university, or equivalent degree in Engineering required. Ideally in an electronics / software related subject

Compensation and Benefits

In return we can offer a salary between £37,351 - £54,010 (dependent onexperience).
