This is an exciting opportunity in Milton Keynes for a Lead Quality Engineer.

Your impact will be seen in these and other ways:
By applying the principles of product quality planning, evaluation, and control in support of the manufacturing and installation operations of the organization.
By facilitating continuous improvement quality activities to reduce the potential for defects, and ensuring continual improvement in process and product design.
By leading control plan preparation.
Ensuring that measurement systems requirements are met (calibration, MSA e.g. Gauge R@R, bias, linearity, stability).
Developing and implementing battery tests (e.g. resistance / voltage test, module test, EoL test, leak test).
By collaborating closely with design team and other internal stakeholders
Dealing with test equipment manufacturers and third-party consultants.
Implementing test procedures including training and assessment.
Skills and Experience Required:
Prior experience as a quality engineer in a product development / NPI environment
Demonstrable track record implementing test processes and providing training to others.
Knowledge of engineering / batch manufactured products.
Prior experience mentoring / providing leadership to a small team.
Ideally you will have knowledge of TS:16949 / IATF standards but not essential.
Required Education, Licenses or Certifications
- College, University, or equivalent degree in Engineering or related subject required.
Compensation and Benefits
In return we can offer a salary between £37,351 - £54,010 (dependent onexperience).
