This is an exciting opportunity in Milton Keynes for an Electronics Engineer.

Cummins Electrified Power are a leading provider offlexible battery solutions for demanding automotive and powerapplications .

Your impact will be seen in these and other ways:

  • By developingelectronics for a Battery Management system (BMS) to schematiclevel including detailed design analysis, simulations, documentation,FMEAs, etc.

  • By working within the BMS team to ensure that the finalproduct meets ISO9001/TS16949.

  • By fault finding and debugging complex electricsystems, working with software engineers as required.

  • By working with external PCB layout engineers to ensurethe resultant implementation meets all the relevant standards forreliability, EMC, etc.

  • Working alongside both internal and external parties toget prototypes and low volume production runs manufactured on time to avery high quality level.


Skills and Experience Required:

  • Experience ideally within an automotive OEM or Tier 1,working on safety critical systems.

  • Working on new product developments from design through testingto manufacture

  • Worked in a similar position before, experience in battery systems wouldbe advantageous but not essential.

Required Education, Licenses or Certifications

  • College, University, or equivalent degree in Engineering required. Advanced degrees are preferred

Compensation and Benefits

In return we can offer a salary between £37,351 - £54,010 (dependent onexperience).
